ABOUT REAL LIFE, UNSCRIPTED
Real Life, Unscripted is a mental wellness community built around honest conversations, practical tools, real stories, resources, and human connection. Rooted in Park Rapids, Minnesota, and welcoming people throughout the Minnesota Lakes Area including Nevis, Menahga, Walker, Bemidji, and beyond. We’re creating space to talk about the parts of life people are often experiencing but don’t always know how to talk about.
Through events, conversations, resources, and shared experiences, we’re helping people connect, learn, and feel supported, both online and in real life.

THIS MONTH AT REAL LIFE, UNSCRIPTED
What’s Really Going On?
World Mental Health Day · ADHD Awareness Month · Depression Awareness Month
Ever wonder what’s really going on in your body when you’re stressed, overwhelmed or constantly “on”?
This month, we’re exploring stress, the nervous system and what may be happening beneath the surface along with simple, practical ways to pause, reset and better understand what your body may be trying to tell you.
Because sometimes caring for yourself isn’t about doing more.
It can start with slowing down long enough to notice what you need.
COMMUNITY EVENTS
Real conversations are even better when we have them together.
Our Real Life, Unscripted gatherings bring people together for approachable conversations, practical tools and opportunities to connect around the realities of everyday life.

Wed, Oct 21Enlightenment PsychiatryJoin us for a conversation about how stress affects the body, why slowing down can sometimes feel difficult, and simple ways to pause, reset and find calm. Guest speaker Stephanie Hanson of SYH Healing will help us understand the sympathetic and parasympathetic nervous systems and guide us.
